Drop-In anytime classes and scheduled workshops

As we head into February, the cold days, snowy weather, and a little cabin fever make it the perfect time to get creative. When you’re ready to get out of the house, we have lots of fun classes happening this month. Gather your friends or family to sign up for a class, or simply drop in anytime and enjoy some creative time at the table. NOTE: for all classes this month, you must pre-register by calling 410-827-0700 or email candace@wyeriverdesigns.com
A friendly reminder to both our longtime friends and those just discovering us: we’re not only an arts and crafts studio, but we’re also a fully stocked herbery and crystal shop. To refresh your memory (or introduce you!), let’s take a little tour of the herbery side of our space.
We carry a beautiful and extensive selection of loose-leaf beverage teas and medicinal teas, all sold by the ounce, along with over 200 varieties of herbs and spices. You’ll also find aromatherapy essential oils and supplies, candles, crystals, smudge sticks, incense, MaryRuth’s extract formulas, and Bach Flower Rescue Remedies for adults, children, and even pets. We also offer Bach Flower Remedy consultations, oracle and tarot decks, and many other thoughtfully chosen natural products.
In addition, we host a variety of herb-focused classes throughout the year, including Salves, Lip Balms, and Tinctures, Tea Blending, Herbs for Anxiety and Depression, Anti-Viral Herbs, Women’s Herbs, a Spice Class, and a Sleep Issues class.

VALENTINES DAY
CRAFTING WORKSHOP
Saturday, February 7th
10 am - 2 pm
Feel the love and bring the kids, friends, Mom or Grandma to share a fun day of crafting whatever you want for Valentines Day. We have all the supplies to make your own Valentine’s Cards or perhaps a Valentine's ornament for a special friend or a larger heart plaque. Or just make something special for a special person in your life. The cost of the class depends on what you make. Pre-register for this class.
HERBS FOR HEALTHY LIVING CLASS
Thursday, February 12th
6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Interested in adding herbs and herbal teas to your daily health regimen? Learn more about the herbs, herbal teas, and tinctures. If you don’t know how or where to begin in your quest to feel better, then this class is for you. The cost of class is $20. Pre-register for this class.
BEACH COLLAGE CLASS at KENT ISLAND LIBRARY
Tuesday, February 24th
5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
This is a free class, and we are making a great beachy collage using scrapbook paper, sand, shells, and other beachy embellishments. There is no registration for this class, just show up before 5:15 to get a seat.
PAPER MACHE BOOK CLASS
Thursday, February 26th
11 am - 1 pm
A fun class for kids or adults to craft and embellish a paper mache book with scrapbooking papers, trims, beads, embellishments and other truly amazing stuff. The cost of the class is $30. Pre-register for this class.
