Drop-In anytime classes and scheduled workshops

April showers bring May flowers…..it’s spring in all its glory! Everything seems fresh and new with so many beautiful springtime colors. Spring at Wye River Designs is full of wonderful, fun new classes. We have three new classes in April: Mosaic Terra Cotta Saucer, Food as Medicine Herb Class and an old favorite...Fabric Wrapped Elephant.
Did you know that we go out into the community to do classes at different neighborhood clubhouses, the library, and the new senior center at the Y in Centreville? Call us for more information about any of our classes in or out of the studio.
A quick reminder that we have “Drop In” crafting every day during our regular business hours. Just drop in and pick out a project you would like to do and we are here to assist you. If you have 4 or more people and want a special class or a class that has already happened, just call and book a special class. We can schedule it at a convenient time for you.
Also, please come and visit our herb shop as we have rearranged and redecorated! We have lots of new products, new beverage teas, soaps, candles, incense, aromatherapy oils, skin oils, tinctures, Shaman's Dawn Sprays, aloe vera juice and gel, Neti Sticks, and many more new natural products.

MOSAICS ON TERRA COTTA SAUCER CLASS
Wednesday, April 3rd
11-2 pm
In this class, you will mosaic the saucer and grout it. This is a fun, super easy project that will look great on your patio or in the house to display a plant. The cost of the class is $28. You must call and preregister for this class at 410-827-0700
FOOD AS MEDICINE CLASS
Wednesday, April 10th
7-8:30 pm
In this class, Candace shares how important good healthy food is. Food is medicine for your body, mind, and spirit and you will learn how to work on all aspects of your life to heal your health issues. Healthy eating is anti-aging medicine that helps your body to keep regenerating for your lifetime. How you eat tells your genes what type of body you want to have. This evening is an incentive to look at what you are eating, how you feel, and what you can do to eat healthier.
PENDANT NECKLACE CLASS
Monday, April 15th
9:30-11am
This class will be held at the new YMCA Senior Center in Centreville. This is a pendant necklace with a chain where you will create your design using different papers and embellishments and seal the pendant with crystal lacquer. The cost of the necklace is $15. You will need to call the Senior Center in Centreville to reserve your space.
FABRIC WRAPPED ELEPHANT CLASS
Wednesday, April 17th
11-2 pm
In this class, you will learn a fun and easy technique starting with covering an elephant shape in fabric strips, then add yarn, beads, and wire to make it artsy! The cost of this class is $38. Call us at 410-827-0700 to reserve your spot.
